Campus Staff

 J.D. Greear, Ph.D., is the lead pastor at the Summit Church and did his degree work in Christian and Islamic theology at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC, after having served in a Muslim context with the International Mission Board. J.D. is committed to the local church and to church planting, having undertaken the goal of planting 1000 churches in the next 50 years. Currently, they have 12 plants around the world, 7 of which are in Muslim contexts. He has authored a number of publications, including the forthcoming Breaking the Islamic Code. He lives in Durham, NC with his gorgeous wife Veronica and his three ridiculously cute kids, Kharis, Alethia and Ryah.  

Ryan Doherty serves as the Campus Pastor at Cole Mill. Ryan, his wife- Morgan and son- Samuel live in Durham, NC and have a passion and vision to see Durham transformed by the power of the gospel. (contact Ryan)
